Reconciliation Week – In This Together

As a nation we celebrate Reconciliation Week from today, May 27, to June 3, marking the anniversary of the 1967 referendum where more than 90% of voters gave the Commonwealth the power to make laws for Aboriginal people, and for Aboriginal people to be recognised in the national census, and the Mabo decision by the High Court on June 3, 1992 which overturned terra nullius and led to native title.

The theme of Reconciliation Week this year is In this Together.
